Fragments

A new Marilyn Monroe book has recently been published; 'Fragments'.  This book is different it is not a biography but Marilyn in her own words, a collection of Marilyn's musings taken from her poems, intimate notes and letters.  Early reviews are promising.  Oh dear another book to add to the wish list.

Fragments edited by Stanley Buchthal and Bernard Comment available here

  3. Vanity Fair did a wonderful expose on this issue based on this new book...I definitely need to get my hands on it. It seems we all underestimated her intellect and the person she strove to be.

Thank you for the beautiful pics!

  6. I'm glad the public will finally see Marilyn Monroe as a real person and not just a sex kitten, an image created to sell movies and photographs and other things associated with her. Thanks for posting this.

  10. Her image is so commonplace, that I think we rarely "see" her. What a beautiful creature she was.

Depress years along Allaboutmadonna.com. So many younger people assume this Madonna. Why? Lack history pictures are bemusing. Have so many books on Marilyn and Jayne Mansfield. Thank you for historical dontent.
